Here are some more pictures of pregnant Nara. In the top picture Ansongo, the sire of the litter is resting his head on her belly. The movement of the puppies can now be easily felt under the abdominal walls. There is still some debate among scientists whether the movements of the unborn occur as part of waking activity, or if they are a byproduct of R.E.M. sleep.
The puppies have only about a week to go, I'm sure its getting cramped in there.
She is gorgeous! I wonder if you get comments about her being a greyhound/collie mix? Maybe not quite... I get those comments all the time with my smooth blue collies. :)
